The Centre for Dialogue and Encounter was full for the 40th Cardinal Bea Lecture. The speakers, Fr Thomas Casey SJ from Rome, and Dr Deborah Weissman from Jerusalem, both spoke of the influence of Cardinal Bea at the Second Vatican Council and the writing of Nostra Aetate, the document of the Vatican council which spoke of the relationship between the Church and the Jewish People
