What’s happening  at SCDE

If you missed the last ones you now have the opportunityto sign up for the Spring Seminars on “Affirming the distinctive integrity of Judaism”. UNTOLD STORIES : HMD2011

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL  DAY  2011 will focus on the many stories yet untold of the murders and persecutions during the Holocaust and subsequent genocides.

It’s easy to speak  about the millions murdered and persecuted but not so easy to remember that each of the millions were individuals, someone’s mother, father, child,  friend, neighbour.

We must not shy away from these stories.  If we listen to them we can learn about the consequences of exclusion and persecution.  When we learn lessons from the past we can help towards preventing such atrocities being repeated.

Read the full theme on www.hmd.org.uk
