The revelation of the Word of God in the Old Testament is the common root of Judaism and Christianity. In the Church we interpret the Scriptures in the light of the Christ event. We are attentive to the way the Bible is interpreted by the Jewish people in their life and tradition. We thereby grow in the appreciation on our own roots and in an understanding of Judasim. We are called to foster this appreciated and understanding in the Church
