Sion School student secures place at Oxford University
Our Lady of Sion sixth form student Adrian Clayton has secured a place to read Mathematics at Hertford College, Oxford. Adrian, who is currently studying for A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and French, said: “I feel really lucky and honoured to have been offered a place at Oxford University. I am looking forward to taking up my place next October; the whole place has such a lovely atmosphere!”
Head of Mathematics, Matthew Hoarty, said: “Adrian is an exceptionally talented mathematician, and we are delighted that the hard work he put in to gain this prestigious place has been rewarded. He has a passionate interest in the subject, and we wish him every success with his undergraduate studies at Oxford University”.
