Birmingham

Isabel and Brenda
Brenda and Isabel welcome you to our community in Birmingham. Our house has been referred to as 'The Open Door'!

Individuals and Groups enjoy 'Quiet Days' here and really appreciate the Peaceful Atmosphere that they find when they step through the door and the welcome that they receive. One commented recently that we were meant to be here simply because of what it means to them to have this space and to feel so much 'at home!'

Isabel provides alternative therapies for those who feel the Isabelneed of them. Some are helped by receiving more energy from these therapies and this helps them to cope better with life. She is also involved in Spiritual Accompaniment, another way of helping the person to become whole. Another element of her ministry is to support adults in a Basic Skills Unit.

Sion's work in the Philippines is very important to us and Isabel is responsible for marketing and promoting the sale of the Philippines cards made in "Natures Garden", a women's' livelihood project.

Brenda
Brenda is responsible for an area in Parish Catechetics, co-ordinating a catechist group and working with young people. She is also involved in Hospital Chaplaincy work. Another aspect of her ministry is Spiritual Accompaniment. Being a member of the Province Leadership Team, some of her time is taken up in Administration.
