The website for the UK and Ireland province of the Sisters of Sion received its 6000th visit yesterday since recording began on 26th October 2004. In the early months of this year, the number of visits to the site more than doubled- there were 600 in March alone!

This increased traffic is almost certainly due to news releases being posted more often, and Lenten thoughts being added to the site. These regular updates make it a vibrant and interesting place to visit, and offer an encouragement for visitors to return, sure that on the next visit, more will be on offer.

In 2002, Pope John Paul pointed out "The Internet causes billions of images to appear on millions of computer monitors around the planet." and went on to ask the question "From this galaxy of sight and sound will the face of Christ emerge and the voice of Christ be heard?"*

In a small way, in the little corner of the internet that belongs to this province, I hope the answer is "Yes!"
