General Chapter, 2010

The General Leadership Team has anounced the 25th General Chapter which will take place in Rome in July 2010.

Each province is asked to prepare for the General Chapter. We have a process for preparation indiviually and in groups in the province. The Theme of the general Chapter is 'IN SION FIRMATA SUM' (Sirach 24:7). This is a quotation which each sister has on her ring which is given at Final Vows. It translates as 'In Sion I am firmly established.'

Each province will send delegates to the General Chapter. The UK /Ireland province will have a Provincial Chapter in October to elect our delegates and to share our hopes for the congregation and the themes and issues we would like to be discussed at the General Chapter.
