Thought for the day 14th November 2011
70 years ago today, 14th November 1941, there was a meeting at Grosvenor House arranged by Archbishop William Temple, then Archbishop of York. The meeting included the Board of Deputies, the Chief Rabbi Joseph Hertz, and church leaders. Their deliberations on that day led to the establishment of the Council of Christians and Jews.
